Hero and Zero of the Week

This Week’s Hero is…
…The Cambridge University Conservative Association, for their efforts in exposing bias in the University newspaper. Their sound blog reports weekly on what they describe as the “pro statist” bias of The Cambridge Student. Keep up the good work. YBF looks forward to training at Cambridge on 4 March.
This Week’s Zero is…
…Jacqui Smith, the Home Secretary, for her poor standards in public life. YBF believes in leading by example, and during a recession it simply isn’t right for the Home Secretary to refuse a grace and favour home so that she can continue to claim her second home allowance. “I haven’t broken any rules” is not good enough. This is a moral question and Jacqui Smith has behaved badly.
