The YBF Activist Training Conference

The 8th YBF Activist Training Conference, known as YBF8, took place at St Anne’s College, Oxford from lunchtime on Friday, 9 December 2011 until lunchtime on Sunday, 11 December 2011.

Each year’s conference improves on the last and in 2011 we had our best line-up of speakers yet at the leading conference for young conservatives of its kind in the United Kingdom.

As former Conservative Party Chairman Rt Hon Eric Pickles MP said in response to one journalist’s obsession as to whether or not he was attending YBF8:

“Apparently someone I’ve never heard of in a paper I don’t read says I shouldn’t be here! Well, I’m delighted to be associated with the Young Britons’ Foundation and for you to have a strong voice with young people”.
