YBF8: The Dolphin Award

Since 2009, the Young Britons’ Foundation Board of Management has given the Dolphin Award to the conservative, libertarian or classical liberal activist who is not just sound but ultrasound (geddit?!).

This year’s nominees are:

  • Raheem Kassam, for combatting campus extremism at Student Rights and in helping to launch The Commentator
  • Alexandra Swann, for her work on the Conservative Future National Executive under perpetual fire
  • Christian May, for coordinating the successful media coverage arising out of the Reagan Statue unveiling
  • Daniel Hamilton, for his work at Big Brother Watch in following in the hard-to-fill shoes of Alex Deane
In addition YBF will be instituting two new awards this year: The Lifetime Achievement Award and The White Feather (for political cowardice). These awards, together with The Eric Forth Award for Activism, will be handed out at YBF8.
