Not every conservative activist necessarily wants a career in politics, academia or the media. Many conservative activists wish to pursue careers in the City, the professions, in business or as entrepreneurs from where they can then support conservative causes – or launch a political career.
The Young Britons’ Foundation organises a series of half-day Career Development Workshops to help conservative activists get ahead in their chosen field. Securing the best jobs in the toughest arenas is not easy and every effort is made to help conservative activists be the very best they can be.
The YBF Career Development Workshops are an opportunity for career-minded activists to learn from, and speak to, leading figures who have already achieved success in their chosen fields as well as to those who have just begun their careers.
In addition to learning insider tips on how to develop an outstanding CV, the ways to guarantee job interviews and how to secure advancement and promotion, activists attending YBF Career Development Workshops also hear first-hand from those who have already developed flourishing careers on the highs – and lows – of those careers, thereby enabling activists to make informed career choices.
YBF offers a number of short career development workshops assisting those who want careers in the City, the legal profession, public affairs, the media, the civil service and industry. Further information is available from Donal Blaney, YBF Chief Executive, at donal@ybf.org.uk.
